This is the place to find all the answers to your questions
By giving us your name and whether you are looking for care for yourself or a loved one, we can make our service more personal. Identifying the location where care is required ensures that we match you with a local community of carers.
You can specify a range of cost per hour of care delivered if you have a budget in mind Note that this doesn't take into account the call charge that our Carer Members will add onto each call to cover travel time and mileage. Your Carer Member will make it clear what their hourly charge and call charge is before you reach an agreement for care to commence.
This filter will help match with carers who may offer different types of care. Broadly speaking, care is either delivered by regular visits (Visiting Care) or by a carer living with the person receiving care (Live-in care). If you select Visiting Care then you are looking for services such as help with medicine administration, assistance with going about the daily routine such as getting up, washing, getting dressed. This will be detailed in a Care Plan which your Carer Member will discuss with you in detail. If you select Home Help or Companionship, the services offered will be focused on assisting with household duties or simply providing a friendly ear and someone to talk to.
Here, you can express preferences about your perfect carer, for example if they should be comfortable around pets, have a driving licence and, ideally, a car. If you are looking for a particularly experienced carer then you can define a range of years' experience. All of your preferences will be taken into account when matching, but note that we will also suggest Carer Members that are a close match to provide you with as many options as possible.
We might not have any carers registered with CareMatch that meet your specific requirements. We are building up our carefully vetted Carer Members all the time, so please do get in touch and let us know what you are looking for. The CareMatch team also work on client demand, so if a specific area has a high demand for quality, professional carers then we will invest time and effort in recruiting new Carer Members in that area.
When we search our Carer Member database, we will provide precise matches and close matches to your requirements. Although some of the profiles you see might not match exactly, we do encourage you to get in touch with Carer Members and discuss your needs. They might, for example, be willing to travel a bit further than usual or be prepared to work with certain types of pet (our search filter has to very high level).
